This contract formalizes the relationship between the Wedding Planner ("Planner") and the Client for planning, coordination, and execution of wedding services.

1. Services:
Planner agrees to provide planning and coordination services as detailed in Schedule A (the "Services"). Services may include vendor management, timeline creation, venue coordination, and event-day management.

2. Term:
This Agreement commences on [Start Date] and continues until completion of the Services or earlier termination as described herein.

3. Fees and Payment:
Total Fee: $[Total Amount].
Deposit: $[Deposit Amount] due to secure date (non-refundable except as set out herein).
Payment Schedule: [Milestone / date schedule].
Late Fees: Overdue amounts may incur interest at [rate].

4. Expenses:

5. Cancellation and Refunds:
If Client cancels more than [X] days before event: refund of paid amounts minus non-refundable deposit and confirmed vendor commitments.

6. Vendor Contracts and Payments:
Planner may negotiate vendor agreements on Client’s behalf but is not a party to most vendor contracts unless explicitly stated. Client is ultimately responsible for payments due to vendors unless Planner agrees otherwise in writing.

7. Liability and Insurance:
Planner will exercise reasonable care in performing Services but is not liable for vendor performance, acts of God, or other events outside Planner’s control. Client is encouraged to maintain event insurance.

8. Force Majeure:
Neither party will be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, governmental actions).

9. Cancellation by Planner:
Planner may cancel for material breach by Client or factors that make performance impossible; deposits may be refunded minus costs incurred.

10. Confidentiality and Publicity:
Planner and Client agree to keep sensitive information confidential. Planner may use non-identifying images of the event for promotional purposes unless Client opts out in writing.

11. Termination:
Either party may terminate for material breach if the breach remains uncured after [days] notice. Termination does not relieve Client of obligations to pay for Services provided or costs incurred prior to termination.

12. Dispute Resolution:
Parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation, and venue for disputes will be [Jurisdiction].

13. Miscellaneous:

Amendments: Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
